Jean-Marc Eyssautier has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. He started his career at Banque de France then joined Sicovam SA (today Euroclear France) where he held positions as Project Manager for RGV, Head of Sales and deputy Managing Director.
Pursuing his career in the securities industry, he joined the CDC Group in 2001 as Chief Operating Officer of the subsidiary dedicated to custody and depositary bank. As a member of the Executive Board, he actively contributed to the merger with the Crédit Agricole Group’s securities business to form CACEIS, one of the European leaders in custodian banking in Europe, in 2005. Within CACEIS, he was Managing Director of the bank in France, then Group Head of Risk and Compliance for 8 years, in charge of the implementation of the many regulations put in place after the 2008 crisis, and Global Head of Public Affairs.
After 15 years at CACEIS, Jean-Marc Eyssautier took over the General Management of LiquidShare, a Fintech created by 8 major players in the Paris financial market to explore the potential use of new technologies (blockchain, DLT, etc.) in the financial world and to accelerate its strategic pivot.
In 2022, he set up Valparaiso Conseil, a consulting firm, and now brings his experience and knowledge to market players in the financial industry. He is also contributing to projects in other areas such as sport and compliance or decentralized production and distribution of decarbonized electricity.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, he played competitive football until he was over 50. He now regularly continues to run, play tennis…and chess. Jean-Marc is graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Paris and holds an English BA. He is fluent in French and English.
