A leading global infrastructure asset manager is seeking a Senior Officer to join its EMEA finance team based in Luxembourg. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements for Luxembourg holding and investment entities, in collaboration with external accounting firms.
- Support the consolidation process for EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Assist with LuxGAAP and US Gaap financial reporting and help ensure consistency with global accounting policies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to support audits and regulatory filings.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accounting policies and process improvements within the finance team.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations for group consolidation.
- Participate in ad hoc finance and project work (system improvements, process streamlining, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Luxembourg governance and regulatory standards (including the maintenance of company registers, minutes, and filings).
Key requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a trust company / corporate services provider / fiduciary in Luxembourg.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit. ACCA certified is a strong asset
- Strong understanding of LuxGAAP; US GAAP is an asset
- Experience in preparing or reviewing statutory accounts and liaising with external providers
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office tools
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages such as French or German a plus
