Our client is a regulated Investment Firm with over 20 years of investment experience, specializing in portfolio management for institutional and private clients.
As a regulated entity, they hold several licenses allowing the Company to manage discretionary portfolio mandates and act as portfolio manager for they own funds. The entity also holds a family office licence.
Position Overview :
They are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join the investment team responsible for the active management of an Evergreen fund of funds (primary, secondary, co-investment) with a private equity buyout strategy investing in Europe and the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, investment strategy and asset management with a deep understanding of the private equity landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage private equity investments, ensuring optimal performance and risk-adjusted returns.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis for potential and existing investments.
- Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth financial and operational due diligence on investment opportunities, assessing risks and potential returns.
- Deal Execution: Support deal structuring, negotiation, and execution of buyout transactions.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide insights and recommendations to the family office leadership on investment strategies and market trends.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with fund managers, advisors, and key industry players.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or asset management with a focus on buyouts.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A CFA, CAIA, or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the private equity market, M&A transactions, and corporate finance.
- Focused on the success of the team, communicative, entrepreneurial and independent minded.
- Team player attitude with excellent communication.
- Fluent in English, French appreciated and any other language would be an advantage.
