Bertrand Manhe is a member of our Strategic Board. He started his career back in 1996 in traditional and online sales & marketing for French Food & Beverages leaders in the USA for 2 years before joining the new technology consulting practice of Arthur Andersen in Luxembourg, mainly addressing technological challenges for the banking industry.
After developing multi skills on numerous international projects for over 4 years, Bertrand joined Cyber Security companies part of the portfolio of a leading Luxembourg based VC manager. Bertrand’s mission was mainly to structure the back and middle-office functions addressing legal, operational and sales-focused marketing processes to manage customers, retailers and distributors. A mission critical activity to bring the start-ups to the exit phase for the VC manager.
In 2008, Bertrand joined Genii Capital as its first member, and since then has been managing Private Equity investments and portfolio management in diverse industries such as automotive, motorsports, entertainment, mobility technologies, and PropTech. He is still today a Managing Director of Genii Capital, and has represented it for about 10 years on the board of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association (LPEA).
Bertrand sits on the board of several companies, from startups to Private Equity fund managers. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Oxford Brookes and a Master in Business Administration in International Affairs from Aix-Marseille University. Bertrand speaks French, English and Spanish.
