Sandrine Leclercq is Partner in charge of Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Governance matters (including corporate secretary activities). She also leads ESG and Sustainability practice within adVeci.
Sandrine has over 25 years’ experience in the asset servicing and asset management industry. She began her career with PWC Luxembourg as a tax advisor. In 1999, she joined CACEIS to lead the Legal Affairs of the Luxembourg entity and its branches in Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2008, she was further promoted to Group General Counsel responsible for more than 60 in-house counsels in 11 jurisdictions. Then in 2012 she joined the international law firm Baker & McKenzie as deputy Head of the Fund & Asset Management practice and Head of Business Development initiatives. Sandrine also worked 4 years at Deloitte (Advisory) & D.Law as a Principal, proving legal and regulatory assistance to a wide range of Luxembourg and foreign professionals of the financial sector.
Lately, Sandrine joined Cube Infrastructure Managers, an independent French- Luxembourg Infrastructure fund manager (AIFM) as Head of Legal and General Secretary of the company and its affiliated entities. During this period, she developed a deep interest on building sustainable corporate governance, while being engaged in mentoring program for young entrepreneurs pursuing sustainable projects
Throughout her career, Sandrine has been a regular speaker at local and international conferences and a lecturer at the Institut de Formation Bancaire (IFBL) and ILA on matters related to fund taxation, corporate governance, and fund regulations. She was also published in numerous European and international journals.
Sandrine holds a Master degree in Business Law (Paris II Assas and University of Saarbrücken) and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration (IAE – Metz). She speaks French, English and German.
